Subscription and Cancellation Terms

Effective date: 2026-09-10Last updated: 2026-09-10Version: 1.2.0

These Subscription and Cancellation Terms supplement the Terms of Service for paid access to Olvara, operated by R. Gilvert.

Status: Paid access to Olvara Privé is available for purchase. Checkout shows the product, price, currency, and whether the purchase is one-time or recurring, plus renewal and cancellation where they apply, before purchase.

1. Paid access products

Olvara offers two distinct paid-access contracts. They are not interchangeable. The 24-hour pass is a one-time digital-access purchase, not a third subscription tier.

1.1 Olvara Privé · 24 hours (one-time)

  • Product name: Olvara Privé · 24 hours
  • Price: CHF 1.90
  • Payment: one-time
  • Recurring billing: no
  • Automatic renewal: no
  • Access start: when payment succeeds
  • Access end (standalone): 24 hours after purchase
  • Overlapping purchase: a new pass bought while a pass is still active extends access by 24 hours from the later of the new purchase time and the current expiry
  • Stripe Customer Portal and in-product subscription cancellation do not apply to a pass. Unused time is not cancellable through a portal.
  • Monthly-upgrade credit: the most recent successful uncredited 24-hour purchase may create one CHF 1.90 credit toward a monthly Olvara Privé subscription only. The credit must be redeemed within 24 hours of that purchase. Credits do not accumulate, combine, apply to annual plans, or become Stripe customer balance.
  • A later paid monthly or annual subscription supersedes an active pass.

1.2 Recurring Olvara Privé

  • Plan name: Olvara Privé
  • Monthly plan: CHF 7.90 / month
  • Annual plan: CHF 59 / year (preferred; about 38% savings vs monthly)
  • Payment processor: Stripe
  • Recurring billing: yes
  • Automatic renewal: yes
  • Cancellation: anytime
  • Cancellation effective: end of current paid billing period
  • Trial: none

Feature allocation between free and Olvara Privé may change when an offer is live. Complimentary Privé access may be granted by the operator for testing; it is not a paid Stripe purchase.

2. Contract formation

Before the final purchase action you will be able to review the product, price, and whether the purchase is one-time or recurring, and correct input errors. The final call-to-action will clearly indicate a paid obligation (for example “Pay CHF 1.90” or “Subscribe for CHF X/month”) or Stripe Checkout will provide the equivalent confirmation UI. Vague labels such as “Continue” will not be used as the sole purchase confirmation when that click creates a paid obligation.

3. Payment data

Stripe processes payment-card information. Olvara does not receive or store full payment-card numbers. We may store payment-related metadata needed to administer paid access, such as Stripe customer ID, checkout session ID, payment intent ID, subscription ID (for recurring plans), product/price references, one-time access expiry timestamps, subscription status, renewal/current period dates, payment status, and transaction/invoice references.

4. Recurring renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel a recurring subscription anytime through Stripe’s customer portal or an equivalent in-product self-service mechanism. After cancellation:

  • automatic renewal stops
  • premium entitlement remains active through the current paid period
  • entitlement expires at period end

Immediate termination mid-period is offered only where specifically required by law or intentionally provided. You will not be required to email the operator merely to stop automatic renewal.

These cancellation controls apply to recurring monthly and annual plans only. They do not apply to Olvara Privé · 24 hours.

5. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, paid-access fees (one-time and recurring) are generally non-refundable after access has begun or the applicable billing period has begun. Mandatory consumer rights (including any applicable withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights) remain unaffected. We do not claim that all sales are final under all circumstances.

6. Price changes

We may change future pricing. A change to the 24-hour pass price does not alter an already purchased access window. For existing recurring subscribers we will give appropriate notice, explain when new pricing takes effect, comply with applicable consumer law, and preserve a cancellation option before the new price takes effect where appropriate. We will not apply silent retroactive price increases to periods already paid.

7. Right of withdrawal / international consumers

Consumer rights vary by jurisdiction and how digital services are supplied. These Terms preserve any mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights available under applicable consumer law. We do not hard-code a universal 14-day withdrawal grant or a universal denial. If Olvara actively targets EU consumers at scale, the live paid-access flow will be reviewed specifically for applicable EU digital-service rules.
